Things are looking good in the Naples real estate market for both buyers and sellers!
Sales were up approximately 20% in October over 2017: Single family home sales were up 22%; condo's were up 18%. Prices were up 1% over last year, which is a healthy number for buyers and sellers.
Most important healthy activity levels seem likely to continue, with pending sales (for November and December) also up nearly 20%. The healthy activity has had two predictable results. Homes are selling 11% faster (measured by days on the market) and more owners are placing their homes on the market, which addresses a perennial problem in our market: low inventory. We have much better inventory now across most market segments, good news for Buyers.
So, things are looking good, and balanced. So, whether you are a Buyer or Seller, given likely increases in interest rates, this is probably a good time to consider making your move.
